Very Large Vintage Sapele Wooden Trunk Box Blanket Box Not Pine Coffee Table. Very large vintage trunk made from Sapele wood. In good condition with general marks to the top due to age and use. Brass handle has been added to help lift the lid as it is heavy!

It has two very sturdy original rope handles as shown. Original brass escutcheon still present, no key. Superb piece that would easily grace any home. Lovely paneling on the underside if the lid which is fixed to the base using 4 brass hinges. Please note this is a very large box and will need a van for collection. I have taken photos next to a chair and ladders and placed magazines inside for size comparison. W: 112 cm D: 69 cm.
