A LOVELY RESTORED BEECH BENTWOOD STEAMER TRUNK. This listing is for a bentwood steamer trunk in outstanding condition and includes the following, a wooden rectangular trunk covered in quality tan vinyl and 3 beech bentwoods making it very strong and robust.

Each bentwood is secured with steel pins and steel polished scolluped plates, the front of the trunk has two large polished lock and clasp locks and there is a thick leather strap handle at each end of the trunk. The top of the trunk has a former owners initials I M T printed and when opened it reveals a very nice size, ideal for all sorts of storage and an original flower patternd paper covering in outstanding condition. In the middle of the lid there is a oval label showing the name Charles J Whithnell and Sons The Leather Bag and Sports Warehouse Scarborough.

This is a very nice steamer trunk ideal for all sorts of storage, lamp table or evan a coffee table. Trunks like these are getting harder to find these days and it would certainly be a lovley addition to any home.
