I solely specialise in restoring and refurbishing trunks and chests to a high standard. This is not a shabby chic trunk like the majority of chests on e-bay but one which has been painstakingly fully restored. A rare and unique example. Every part of this chest has been restored with care and attention. I certainly don't chose to restore trunks for the huge profits!!

I have a passion for vintage trunks and it is a joy to breath new life into them. 78 cm's wide 52 cm's high 49 cm's deep.

Stunning restored Domed Edwardian pine trunk with elegant wooden banding. Feature beautiful polished metalwork & polished studs contrasts nicely with the wax polished wood. Retro new'William Morris' style art nouveau lining paper.

Drop metal handles to either end. Restorers'Elephant Trunks' luggage label. Sits on stout wooden runners. Lid has a new strap, secured with brass studs which keeps it in a vertical position when open and stops it crashing backwards and putting pressure on hinges (which are all fine).

Box in lid has a spring catch and opens and closes correctly. Usual mends and repairs associated with a trunk of this age. This is such a fantastic example (getting rarer and more collectable by the day)and such a lovely shape and glows with colour.
