Solid wood vintage blanket / storage box professionally hand-painted to a high standard in Fusion Mineral Paint Paisley (soft light dusky blue). Dark glaze has been applied around the edges and the front carving to emphasise the curves and the intricate detail of this piece, and to achieve slightly vintage look. The front carvings have also been drybrushed with white to futhermore enhance the beautiful pattern of this detail.

The whole piece has been hemp oiled for extra protection. Hemp oil is a natural, environmentally friendly and food safe product. The inside of the box and the inside of the lid is lined with a complimenting lining paper. Please note the whole piece is painted and therefore this blanket box can also be used as a coffee table. Even though restored to a high standard, this is not a brand new piece of furniture and have been used and therefore comes with some markings and signs of wear and tear which adds to its charm.
