Antique Pine Seaman's Chest with Rope Handles Naval Trunk Blanket or Toy Box

  

Welcome to the sale of this splendid old chest. Shape with iron protectors to the corners and rope handles.

The pine has a lovely old patina and is free of rot or worm and has been given a light wax. A very decorative chest that would suit most homes. In good condition commensurate with its age and use.

Expect some marks and stains, the hinges have been replaced and one of the rope stays is cracked but stable and works fine.
